SEJARAH PERKEMBANGAN PENCAK SILAT MERPATI PUTIH DI TANAH KABUPATEN BANDUNG TAHUN 2018-2023

Abstrak

The History of Merpati Putih Pencak Silat in the Bandung Regency Branch from 2018 to 2023, during the period of one of its chairpersons named Mas Anwar Efendi. Established since 2012. This research uses a qualitative historical model that focuses on studying the history, development, and inPluence of Merpati Putih pencak silat on society. This research also employs data collection techniques in the form of interviews, document gathering, and observation. The study shows that the Merpati Putih pencak silat branch in Bandung Regency originated from the merger with the Batujajar and Sumedang branches, which then separated. The period of 2018-2023 indicates development, rePlected in the increasing number of members and successful branch programs, which have formed disciplined and accomplished members. The Merpati Putih pencak silat branch of Bandung Regency also participated in the prevention and handling of COVID-19, thus helping many community members through Pitness training programs.
