TAKTIK PERANG GERILYA DI JAWA BARAT: PERAN DIVISI SILIWANGI DALAM MENGHADAPI BELANDA (1947-1949)

Abstrak

This study explores the guerrilla warfare strategy employed by the Siliwangi Division during the Dutch Military Aggression in West Java from 1947 to 1949. The research method used is the historical method, comprising the stages of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data collection was carried out through literature studies, such as archives, ofOicial military documents, and other scholarly works. The Oindings indicate that the guerrilla tactics employed by the Siliwangi Division by utilizing the geographical conditions of West Java and involving civilian participation were effective in impeding Dutch military operations. Furthermore, this strategy contributed to Indonesia’s diplomatic success, as marked by the achievement of the Round Table Conference (RTC) at the end of the conflict.
