About the Journal
Zeitgeist Journal of Education, History, and Socio-Cultural Studies is a scientific publication platform that presents the results of studies and research in the fields of education, history, and socio-cultural studies, contributing to the understanding, development of scientific theories and concepts, and their application in education and historical studies in Indonesia and the world. The scope of Zeitgeist covers studies on Indonesian history and world history, history education in the form of teaching materials, learning strategies, media, learning models, and history learning assessment. In addition, Zeitgeist also includes socio-cultural studies, character education, and contemporary issues relevant to historical learning, cultural preservation, and identity strengthening. Zeitgeist accepts and publishes articles based on research, theoretical studies, literature reviews, and field studies that enrich academic discourse in the fields of education, history, and socio-cultural studies. Each published work is expected to contribute significantly to the development of knowledge, the strengthening of cultural values, and innovations in history learning in the global era.
Current Issue
Edisi perdana Zeitgeist: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sejarah, Sosial, dan Budaya hadir sebagai media akademik yang mewadahi gagasan, penelitian, dan kajian kritis dalam ranah sejarah, pendidikan, sosial, serta budaya. Volume 1 Nomor 1 (2025) memuat artikel-artikel terpilih yang merefleksikan semangat keilmuan lintas disiplin untuk memahami dinamika masyarakat masa lalu, kini, dan masa depan. Sebagai edisi awal, jurnal ini menekankan pentingnya menghadirkan wacana segar yang mampu menjembatani antara warisan sejarah dengan kebutuhan pendidikan kontemporer, serta antara realitas sosial dengan transformasi budaya. Setiap artikel dalam terbitan ini tidak hanya menguraikan hasil penelitian yang mendalam, tetapi juga menawarkan perspektif kritis, inovatif, dan relevan bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta praktik sosial di Indonesia maupun konteks global.
